Series Resistor Calculator
This tool calculates the total resistance when multiple resistors are connected end-to-end. In a series circuit, the same current passes through every resistor, and the total resistance is simply the sum of all individual values.
Use this tool to:
- Achieve specific resistance values by combining multiple standard resistors when a single component of that value isn’t available.
- Determine voltage drops across various points in a circuit, as each resistor will drop a portion of the supply voltage based on its value.
- Limit current flow to a precise level for sensitive components like sensors or integrated circuits.
