About Us
Enabling hardware design at the speed of software.
Quickboards was born out of the R&D trenches at Salih Labs. After personally leading the design of over 100 commercial products, our founder, Moe Salih, realized that much of the hardware development time was being spent on ‘reinventing the wheel’ for common sub-circuits.
Our mission for frictionless R&D
Quickboards provides a growing library of modular, production-ready schematic blocks covering processors, interfaces, power management, analog, sensors, memory, and supporting circuitry. Each schematic is designed as a reusable sub-system that can be dropped directly into your own designs, helping teams avoid rebuilding common circuits while reducing first-spin risk. Instead of starting from scratch, engineers assemble complete systems from proven building blocks.
We license these schematic files to companies and engineering teams for internal product development, giving organizations access to professionally designed circuit modules that can be adapted, extended, and integrated into commercial products.
Our library emphasizes standardized architectures (built around IPC-2221A and IPC-7351B), long-lifecycle components, modular design, and clear documentation—resulting in faster development cycles, fewer PCB re-spins, and more predictable hardware outcomes.
Technical Oversight & Accountability
The Quickboards library is developed and verified under the rigorous technical oversight of Moe Salih, a Senior Hardware Engineer and McMaster University (B.Eng.) graduate with over a decade of experience in embedded systems and PCB architecture. Previously serving as Principal Engineer at Salih Labs, where he led the design and deployment of over 100 commercial hardware products, Salih applies this extensive field experience to ensure every schematic block meets the requirements of modern high-stakes manufacturing.
This commitment to innovation is anchored by a portfolio of five United States patents (registered under the legal name Mhamad Salih) covering fundamental advancements in power electronics, electrical distribution, and energy storage. To maintain total design integrity, all library blocks are engineered with reference to IPC-2221A and IPC-7351B standards, bridging the gap between theoretical schematic design and production-grade reliability.
